However, users faced significant challenges, including manual setup processes and difficulty staying engaged during live discussions. These pain points hindered adoption and highlighted the need for a more seamless, user-friendly experience.

By improving onboarding flow, enhancing transcript visibility, and integrating AI-authorized summaries, we saw meaningful gains in user engagement, clarity, and trust. After shipping this experience, we continued iterating based on real user feedback and edge case discoveries. These improvements helped refine the product experience and reduce user friction:
✅ Improved Auto-Join Flow: We redesigned the meeting setting interface to make auto-joining more intuitive and effortless for users.
✅ Resolved Notetaker Stuck Issue: Users reported Notetaker getting stuck in meeting waiting rooms. We implemented a solution that triggers automatic email alerts when this happens — ensuring users are informed and can take action without losing notes.
This project taught me the value of refining micro-flows post-launch, building trust in AI-generated content, and designing for edge cases that surface only through real-world usage.
🔄 Next Steps
Our next focus is enhancing AI summary accuracy and introducing in-meeting actions that allow users to flag key moments, assign follow-ups, and tag decisions in real time. We're also exploring integrations with task management platforms like Asana and Linear to bring meeting insights directly into team workflows.
